Welcome to another episode of Tasoni Talks. Today Sander Lak, designer of Sies Marjan discusses his eclectic range of influences with us.
Having grown up all over the world, in Malaysia, Gabon, Scotland, and the Netherlands, Sander Lak graduated from design school at Central Saint Martins. While working in Antwerp, Lak became the head of design for the high-profile brand Dries Van Noten.
Sander Lak was later recruited to launch the Sies Marjan label, which received critical acclaim at its debut and quickly gained global appeal. His seductive designs are a marvel of vivid colors, movement created by relaxed tailoring, and innovative textures, namely, his faux-croc leather.
