Discover our Tasoni Talks interview with Charlotte Chesnais, as we talk about creativity and design with one of the most important figures in Parisian jewelry.

In the creative universe of CharlotteChesnais, the sculptures of Brancusi and Jean Arp (among others) serve as inspiration, and a combination of graphic and fluid lines compose timeless, ingenious pieces that flirt with the world of jewelry and sculpture.

About her creative process she says: "Before each piece of jewelry there is a hand-made model in a Parisian workshop with whom I have been working since the beginning. I need this close relationship with these remarkable craftsmen, the only ones capable of bringing to life my sketches drawn quickly on a loose sheet of paper or my approximate tests on the body. Together, we look for shapes, we twist, we weld, we hammer. The exchange is essential. It's my favorite part. Without them, the brand would not exist. At least, it wouldn't be so rich."

In 2015 and after perfecting her creative eye at Balenciaga, working side by side with Nicholas Ghesquière, Charlotte Chesnais launched her eponymous jewelry line. Her polished and sculptural designs are praised by critics and the line of accessories has won the prestigious ANDAM fashion Accessories award.
