COPY: Clean silhouettes meet daring comfort in FILA’s latest collaboration with the Paris-based label Y/PROJECT. Celebrating its 110th anniversary, FILA sought innovation and decided to collaborate with Y/PROJECT, which is known for embracing  playful detailing in its collections. Glenn Martens, Y/PROJECT’s creative director, emphasizes individuality and independence as he explores power and delicacy. Under Martens’ creative leadership, Y/PROJECT has won the ANDAM Grand Prize twice, a French fashion award recognized as a benchmark among industry pioneers.

Tasoni now features a track jacket, polo dress, sneakers, duffle bags, and strap bags from the collection, all boasting a unisex identity. The collection celebrates streetwear with a couture approach as the utilitarian element of sportswear is stripped and reconfigured in a couture play.  Carefully curated to highlight the collaboration’s unique voice, the pieces coincide in a masculine and feminine space — fusing aesthetics to create a class of its own. Classic FILA colors — rich red, navy blue and white — remind us of the brand’s roots while the modern silhouettes touch on futuristic possibilities.

Notably, the designs thoughtfully implement details that invite the wearer to explore the ways in which the bold garments can be worn through creative interpretations. The experimental streetwear pieces offer a fresh perspective of the boundaries sportswear can surpass. MORE STORIES
