TASONI POP-UP: BASEL SOCIAL CLUB

EXCLUSIVE LAUNCH

ART BASEL 2025

An encounter between fashion, art, and design — in a space that resists convention.

This June, Tasoni is proud to participate in Basel Social Club, a not-for-profit platform founded in 2022 by a collective of art world figures with the intention of creating social spaces for art that are open, inclusive, and free of charge. What began as a one-off gathering has evolved into a project that resists definition, sidestepping conventions of traditional exhibitions and art fairs. Rooted in collaboration, artistic freedom, and community engagement, Basel Social Club transforms unconventional sites, from abandoned villas to rural farmlands, into spaces for dialogue and experimentation.

For its 2025 edition, the Social Club takes over a former bank in Basel, reimagining its architecture as a vibrant site for artistic exchange. Within this unique setting, Tasoni presents a pop-up experience that merges fashion, design, and site-specific installation. The space brings together current Tasoni collections with curated objects and collaborative artworks, anchored by custom furniture conceived by designer Damian Fopp and a sound installation by Jan Vorisek that moves through the space like a sensory thread.

To mark the occasion, Tasoni unveils its first Artist Collaboration series: a collection of exclusive pieces developed in dialogue with artists including Jasmine Gregory, Mitchell Anderson, Lorenza Longhi, Fabian Marti, and Urban Zellweger. These limited-edition pieces offer a new expression of wearable creativity that is part fashion, part artifact. A dialogue is created between the works of the artists presented in the space (all collaborators are represented via works from their various practices in the pop-up), and their contributions to the Tasoni Artist Collaboration series.

The pop-up also introduces a capsule of Basel Social Club exclusive merchandise, developed in collaboration with the artists and organizers behind the platform. Designed as collectible reminders of a singular week, these pieces reflect the spirit of the space: open, experimental, tongue in cheek, and intentionally impermanent.

More than a retail moment, Tasoni’s pop-up at Basel Social Club is a spatial and creative proposition, and an invitation to slow down, explore, and experience fashion in dialogue with Tasoni’s community and contemporary culture. MORE STORIES
