GOOSENS x HARUMI KLOSSOWSKA DE ROLA

Aiming to uncover the gracefulness of nature, the House of Goossens and jewelry artist Harumi Klossowska de Rola collaborate once again. Robert Goossens, a paramount couture jeweler in Paris, worked with renowned designers such as Cristóbal Balenciaga, Jean Rochas and Coco Chanel in the late 1900s. Cherishing its legacy, the brand continues to be known for creating intricate and unique pieces utilizing classic artisanal techniques.

This is the third capsule that Goossens has collaborated with Harumi Klossowska de Rola — an artist who has previously designed for Chopard, Valentino and Galliano. Klossowska de Rola aims to challenge the boundaries of jewelry through her work, bridging the path for animals and nature to coexist and be one with humans. Similar to Goossens, she is enamored by the details and intricacies in life which are portrayed in her breathtaking designs.

For the collaboration animal life, simultaneously still and vibrant, is showcased in sculptural pieces, including necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and a captivating headpiece. Goossens and Kosawla use nature’s fauna and flora as a source of inspiration, encasing them in timeless baroque pieces. The designs offer an exploration of a dreamy, ethereal landscape with a golden finish. The jewelry is inspired by the Dragonfly, which symbolises change, and the Kallima Inachus Butterfly, which resembles a leaf. The unique collection is made up of a set of numbered and limited pieces curated to speak to the poetic nature of fleeting creatures. MORE STORIES
